The Randy Dorton Hendrick Engine Builder Showdown event was created 11 years ago as a way for Rick Hendrick to recognize the talents of his engine employees within Hendrick Motorsports and the Hendrick Automotive Group.

For customers of Hendrick Honda of Bradenton we hope that you have benefitted from this culture.  From the top down, and spanning organizations as well as automobile nameplates, our culture is something that we can all take pride in.  Customers and employees alike.  And everyday we benefit from that pride.  You can see it in their faces.

This is an important event and it is BIG!  This year hosted Twelve teams of two from Hendrick Automotive Group and Hendrick Motorsports.  They go head-to-head building a Chevrolet RO-7.2 engine.
