5th ANNUAL TAKE STOCK IN CHILDREN 10K / 5K / FUN RUN
Share on twitterShare on facebookShare on printMore Sharing ServicesTake Stock in Children of Manatee County will hold the 5th Annual Take Stock 10k/5k/Fun Run, Sunday, March 2, 2014. Runners will start and finish on Main Street in Lakewood Ranch. Both the 10k and 5k are scheduled to begin at 7:30 a.m. and the Fun Run starts at 8:30 a.m. Post Race party with food, entertainment, raffles, age group awards and kids activities immediately following the race.

All proceeds from this event benefit Take Stock in Children of Manatee County.

Take Stock in Children is a non-profit organization that helps children from low-income families achieve academic and personal success by providing mentoring programs and college scholarships. The Florida Pre-Paid College Foundation matches the money we raise dollar-for-dollar, thus creating opportunity for young people who have shown their desire and commitment to attend college by maintaining a 2.5 or higher grade point average and remaining drug and crime-free.

Online registration will close on February 28th, at 11:59 p.m. After 2/28/14, price increases to $35 for all participants.
