The 2016 Civic Coupe

The Civic Coupe is arriving at dealerships this month and in just a few weeks customers will be able to experience the sportiest, most sophisticated and tech-savvy Civic Coupe yet. And today in New York, Honda will hold the North American debut of the amazing new Civic Hatchback as they further up the ante on 10th-generation Civic styling, utility and fun-to-drive performance.

And there's more...  On the heels of the just-introduced coupe, Honda is going to be building on that momentum with a new efour door hatchback version.  That combining sporty driving performance with hatchback utility.

Powered by the same 1.5-liter, 174-hp turbocharged four-cylinder engine found in higher trim levels of the sedan, the big powertrain news for enthusiasts is that the hatchback will mark the first pairing of that engine with an available six-speed manual transmission, and that the manual will also be offered throughout the Civic lineup for 2017. A continuously-variable (CVT) automatic will still be available for those who prefer not to shift for themselves.
