Automobiles play such an exciting part in our early lives

Young drivers have been getting their first chance to experience the thrill of life behind the wheel since Disneyland Park opened on July 17, 1955. Notice how close Autopia is to its big brother just beyond the berm, Interstate 5.

My introduction to motoring wasn't quite as exhilarating as that of kids today.  I remember, vividly the first time I visited a new car showroom.  It was with my father, up in western New York.  And it was a now defunct manufacture's dealership.  Back then car dealerships could be found in the downtown area of many cities, both large and small.  Location, location, location, how things have change.

These days, many kids are introduced to motoring in more fun ways.  In the family vehicles(plural), and better yet motoring to tomorrow behind the wheel of miniature gas fueled cars at Disneyland!  They actually get to drive!  And these cars are powered by Honda.  How cool is that?

  1. One of the factors that make Disneyland so great is who they partner with. How amazing that Honda is one of those partners. Great choice!
